Reframing the Upper East Side.
Located on the Upper East Side, Vitre is a unique condominium combining sophisticated design with superior materials and elevated by a stunning glass façade. With a name from the French for “window”, Vitre adds an unforgettable contemporary touch to a setting known for its culture, cosmopolitanism and haute couture.
With its emphasis on quality of experience, Vitre is a high-caliber boutique development of 48 units ranging in 522 SF to 1,417 SF crafted to appeal to prospective owner-occupiers.
We partnered with Wonder Works Development to develop a graceful, refined brand identity to express Vitre’s offer of accessible luxury on the Upper East Side to prospective buyers.
Drawing inspiration from the building’s name, a window-like device becomes a frame through which the building and the neighborhood are seen. This device also fuses with the golden mean to become the Vitre monogram, itself providing a nod to the idea of a window. Eloquent yet understated copy and lavishly evocative imagery further the effect. Flexible and adaptable, the identity centers around the notion of reframing luxury.
The identity is supported by a website, advertising, print collateral and environmental branding that have together driven increased interest and inquiries.
Looking through the window of our new identity, we were able to communicate a more coherent and compelling story. The solution was genuine and welcoming, signalling a cosmopolitan sophistication and a new vision of luxury for the upper east side.
